Le Scarron

IMG_3997.JPG

Built in 1969 by Triana Boats of Cogden Elms, Wimborne. Le Scarron was originally named Brianna M. and spent most of her life in the Channel Islands, firstly in Jersey then later Guernsey. She is now based in the Solent.

Originally fitted with twin 120hp Volvo Penta petrol sterndrives, she was re-engined in the early 1990's with twin 170hp Volvo Penta AQ171-SPs. Lightly loaded with a clean hull she has reached a maximum of 34 knots and cruises happily between 25-30 knots.

Currently subject to an ongoing restoration she has been rewired and replumbed. Among many other things yet to do are an interior refit and headlinings as well as deck and cabin top paint.
